“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV
In the pursuit of your God-given vision, dreams, and goals, know that, eventually, your vision will be for an appointed time. Though it may appear to take some time for your vision to take shape, it does not mean development is not happening. Yet, just because you may not see everything in your vision right away, know that each of us is designed to build something that is destined to have a great impact in some way, shape or form. And, yes, in the middle of the process, it may be difficult to discern exactly when your vision will start to flourish according to the expectations you may have for yourself, but know that even in the process, nothing is wasted.
In the moments where you may be thick in the middle of the process, it can be easy to think, “what’s the point of envisioning when the timeline is unclear?” Yet, being able to envision a future different than what you currently see is a healthy part of moving forward and being innovative. But, also know that a key to the longevity of your vision is how you balance your future vision with your present process.
You see, it's in the present process that you begin to build the foundation to what your future vision looks like. The key is reminding yourself to not get stuck or frustrated with the timeline. Continue to take your steps, make your goals, and implement every change you can at the moment you are in -- whether this be in your health, in your career, or even in your personal goals for yourself.
As you continue to build your vision, even if it’s not always clear how each piece will fit in the present, know that every step is important -- no matter how big or small. Make a point to invest in every opportunity you are provided, as you prepare to flourish in every season of your vision.
