“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Galatians 6:9 NKJV).
There is a saying, that is Biblical in origin, that says “you reap what you sow.” And, within the pursuit of our God-given vision, dreams, and goals, it is important to also wisely evaluate what we both “reap” and “sow” at different points in our vision.
This proverbial concept may apply to how we use our time, how we invest in our own personal development, or even the time we “sow” into someone else. And, as we evaluate every step of our visionary pursuits and goals, a key to propelling our vision forward is making sure to not only intentionally reap for the benefit of our own vision, but also sow for the potential to impact someone else’s.
Yes, there are seasons in our vision where we may just be getting started, or we may find ourselves in a difficult situation, or we may just need support. Yet, even in those times, we should use wisdom in what we both reap and sow, to both survive the hard times, but also thrive when it’s our time to flourish.
By establishing a practice of both “reaping” and “sowing,” we not only establish a healthy vision, but we also unlock purpose. And, as you both sow and reap with intention, you are sparking a future harvest of the success, longevity, and trust that your vision deserves, as you dare to be influentially visionary!
